Ohhh where do I begin!!!! It all started when my brother took his car to be fixed by the Oak Lawn Mazda Dealership’s service department with the "experts”.

His car was not starting and his engine was revving up on its own without pushing on the accelerator. Let's not forget to say his warranty expired, so yes, it took them almost 3 weeks for us to finally even get an answer back and to get the car started again. This cost him $500 dollars. My brother paid them the $500, and as he started up the car while in their parking lot the problem was still there.

We left the car there, but it was too late to contact the service manager at the time because he had left for the day. The next day we spoke with a person that foresees the service managers. We spoke on the phone with, General Sales Manager, Jayson Levine. He said he would take care of it and that he would call us right back.

Did we get surprised when he didn't call back? Not really due to the lack of customer care. The next day I left him another voicemail stating to please contact us back, and three days later still we hadn’t heard anything. So we went out of our way and went to see him in person the next day.

We spoke with the service manager and Jayson Levine face to face. Jayson’s response to why he didn't call back was, “Oh I thought I did call you back, and resolve it.” Good one Jayson, pretty comical! Jayson then tells us “There is still another $400 fix that needs to be done to the car to run perfect, so to make matters better, you guys cover 200 and Mazda will cover 200 and I will throw in an oil change.” We told him after waiting 3 weeks without a car to please see if he could do better than that. His response was "let me check with my VP".

He disappeared for 10 minutes and then returns to say m"$200 is best I can do. I'm busy right now, so its either you take it or leave it" and walks away saying "no oil change". We then walked to his office and asked him "you’re telling me no more oil change now why?" His response, "Nope that deal is gone”. We immediately walked out using the service door to exit and telling the service manager "we will be contacting headquarters for this matter and talk to them about the General Manager of Sales, Jayson Levine’s rudeness”.

As we were pulling out the parking lot, we forgot to get our invoice that has been done to the car, plus the business card of the GM to correctly spell Jayson’s name, so we went back in to retrieve these items. This is when everything turned for the worst, as if it already hadn’t been bad enough. My brother grabbed the paperwork from the service department, while I went into the sales area looking for Jayson. I asked Jayson for his business card as he was just walking into his office and sat down in his chair and stated “I'll give it to you when I can” and started walking to the door where I was standing and states "I'm done with dealing with you".

He then SLAMS the door shut and sits down in his chair. I knew he must have heard me say that I was going to contact headquarters, because he was so hesitant to give me his business card. I waited 30 seconds after he slammed the door in my face with complete shock, and knocked on his door (glass door which we can see each other through) and said, “I need your business card please.” This is when I witnessed the most unbelievable thing ever. He jumped out of his seat, charges the door, whips it open and comes directly to my face

(At least 6 foot 3, easily 265 pounds general manager) and I quote "GET THE @@@@ OUT OF MY STORE OR I WILL @@@@@@ KILL YOU”!!!

In those exact words. My mouth dropped!!! My family bought 5 cars in the last 7 years from that store and to hear such disgusting comments was utterly shocking. I know you are probably sitting there and asking yourself could this really be true.

Even I am still in shock and don’t believe what I just said, but that’s exactly what he told me word for word. I walked out of that store hollering and making a scene (could you blame me at this point) saying “I can't believe you just said that to me.” His eyes said attack 100% and felt that he wasn't joking around. He called the police before I could. The police officer came and heard both sides of the story and ended up issuing him a ticket for an assault, for threatening to KILL ME.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE stay away from this store it's not a joke. The way his eyes looked over me just because I asked him for his business card was uncalled for and unreal.

I will never forget that name, JAYSON LEVINE!!!!! The sad thing is my brother wanted to eventually trade his car in for a new car from their dealership, but after seeing how we were treated we will DEFINITELY take our business elsewhere.

Reason of review: Warranty issue.
