Dealer would not repair HPFP covered under CPO warranty without also performing an uncovered, unnecessary repair. District service manager unhelpful.

Dear Mazda Global, In 2021, unfortunately I bought the new Mazda CX-5 (signature) from the official dealer in Saudi Arabia, and sold it in two weeks only and lost around 4,000 Saudi Riyals. Because I could not make chemistry with car. As the car is reliable, but unfortunately it is missing lots of needed features; First, not a spacious car in general and is very narrow in its size compared to other cars in the market. Second, Mazda, doesn't have brilliant nor variant exterior car colors to choose from. Third, interior design is very cheap for price paid. It is all one color, that doesn't give you luxury look and feel. Indeed, is a very boring car. In conclusion, I regretted my purchase of Mazda signature. and will not consider it for future.

Rear shocks leaking on 2019 mazda cx5

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I take my car to a local shop for oil changes they informed me that the rear shocks were leaking and to go the dealership because it should be under warranty. earlier in the summer I did go and they acknowledge the leak and suggested that I should wait because the leak wasn't that bad, contact them when I need to get the oil changed and they would look again at replacing the rear shocks. Well that was last week, I was informed that the techs note indicated no leak??? what the @#ck. I got my oil changed today by my local shop and they confirm again the leak is present. I will contact support not confident any will happen. Don't trust the local dealership I will contact support

Charging More after Signed Contract

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

1. Sales person mislead us to let us to charging a premium when they promised on the phone that there was no charge.

2.

After coming to an agreement, we left feeling good even though they messed up the math by charging us $300 dollars more.

3. We got a call that the car was in and when we got there they told us they didn't want to do business with us unless we agreed to pay $2000 more than agreed on (even though we have signed paperwork).

I've bought over 20 cars in my lifetime and I understand things are rough in the automotive industry right now, but the sales team literally screwed us over and mislead us so they could make even more money. And car sales people wonder why they have a terrible reputation? We did not agree on the extra money because they clearly were trying to screw over our family.

They even used the excuse that the car had been there for a day, even though we came all the way over there with all of the money in cash.

Terrible people. Terrible company.veov

I went to the dealer today because the rubber around the window came off and they told me that it is not covered through Mazda. I have to mention that I bought the car 10 months ago and the car should be covered bumper to bumper 3 years , 36000.They told me that they going to contact me in 2 3 business days regarding this matter, which I doubt they going to because I have issues with them before.

Battery Mgmt System Malfunction

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Just got the shock of my life when my dealer told me that a part of my vehicle was malfunctioning and it would cost me $500 + and it wasn't covered under my warranty. This battery Q8 is supposed to be instrumental in running my car but I can't find anything about it in my owners manual. Should I sound the alarm to the other unsuspecting Mazda 6 owners out there that have no clue about what is to come? Why isn't this part covered under my warranty? I'm so pissed and disappointed that things like this pop up when all the time I brag about having a good car. My car is about 5 yrs old and I'm expecting some mechanical needs but this expense is over the top crazy!

Have to fight for your "FREE Service Schedule Maintenance Coupon"

Really ?

Mazda staff in Takuapa, Thailand told me I HAVE TO PAY 3688 THB.

No, I don't HAVE TO pay, and I don't have to fight for the promised FREE service schedule maintenance coupons.

Ok, maybe it's a communication problem in English ?

No, they told my Thai friend in Thai that I HAVE TO pay 3688 THB.

I asked to tell her English-speaking boss to call me. Of course, he did not call me.

Seems like he is only there to sell the cars for commission, but not for general customer service.

Finally, I called to Mazda Customer Care in Bangkok.

02030****

If you press 9 for English, nothing will happen.

After pressing randomly a lot of numbers, finally a real person talked to me in English.

She wanted to clear the problem for me.

Actually, what was the problem ?

I made an appointment for service maintenance.

Last one was with 50,000 km 10 months ago.

Now 57000 km.

The problem was that I can not use the 60k coupon anymore because the service have to be done after 60k or 6 months.

Ok then take the 70k coupon which should be in the valid time of again 6 months.

Mazda Takuapa Thailand: No can not

Mazda Service Center Bangkok explained to me that they can not provide me the 60k "free service schedule maintenance coupon" as it is now 4 months over the time.

Really ? Ok

And if I don't want to pay, they will not change the spare parts they would change at a 60k service.

And if there would be damage with the car due to the not changed spare parts, their guarantee would be invalid.

Did you just try to soft force me to pay the 3688 THB?

Are you serious ? No, I won't pay.

Mazda staff managed with their behavior to turn a happy Mazda customer to an unhappy customer. It's not the car.

I'm happy with the Mazda3.

I really have to fight for a FREE maintenance coupon and get angry about that ?

Now they painted a new picture: Mazda is stingy.

Mazda staff in Thailand need urgently some customer care trainings, and then they should not sleep during the training.

Oh, I forget, they said my battery is low, and I should change it.

That would be the 2nd battery in 3 years.

No, I will not pay them a single baht.

EDIT: OMG, they are right, I'm too late for inspection. Have to be within 39 months.

I'm late 1 day and 13h.

Complaint

Mazda - Complaint
Mazda - Complaint - Image 2

My mx5 has 29000 miles and is under warranty. I took my car in for oil and filter change and tires rotated.

45 minutes later the service representative presented me with $1334.00 of recommended procedures.

They wanted to clean my fuel injectors (which they tried to get me to get @20000 miles),transmission fluid change, brake flush, differential flush, and said my navigation card had a defect.

I had used my navigation system 2 days before and no problem with it.

They then told me the normal cost of 30000 mile service was 479.00 and I could get the work done in segments so it wouldnt be so expensive.

I then told them I had bought my car new from them and had purchased the extensive warranty to cover everything including electrical problems. The tech said he would have to call the manufacturer to see if the chip was covered. 45 minutes later he said they would cover it with a $50 dollar deductible and pay taxes for the full price of chip, so my total bill that day was $143.90.

I gave them a poor rating so the service manager called me and said I still refused to have necessary maintenance done and took up for her guy that wanted me to have the work done.

I was so angry with this service department I went to drive a Supra.

I also called another service center and inquired about the price of the 30000 mile check up.

He said that there wasnt one, t

hat the car didnt need it.

Would you want to be treated like that?

I dont think so. I love my mx5 but I dont want to deal with that much dishonesty.

Joe Maus Mazda has ruined my car experience.

Technical query

Hi. I have just bought a 2021 Mazda cx-3 premium. The active display is only showing speed and lane guidance. When I go into settings, the menu to adjust what shows on the active display is greyed out. Does this need some sort of software upgrade or is there a way to `un grey' it so that I can adjust what is shown on the active display?????

Poor technical service on new vehicle

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

It's more than 2 years now that I've been bringing in my car to Mazda to sort out the knocking sound on full right turn. I have dealt with various staff at CMH Randburg and am currently being assisted by Haarno from CMH randburg.

Haarno has helped me over the last year by sending videos to the Mazda Technical department as well as having the Technical Expert out from Mazda.

The service from Mazda's Technical department has been pathetic to say the least. Mazda's Technical department has no concept of customer service. Firstly they kept asking for videos and wasting my time before they eventually sent out a technician. The technician advised CMH Mazda to change the shock struts and left.

He did not test the vehicle properly and the problem persists. After complaining to CMH Mazda again Mazda's Technical Department asked for more videos. Really?! If they couldn't figure out the issue from the first lot of videos why ask again?.

Numerous videos were sent to them and still there was no resolution. The matter was escalated to the head of the Technical department. They eventually (after almost a year) sent the technician back. This time I had the displeasure of meeting the technician: Chris (who was the same person previously sent out).

I took Chris for a drive to demonstrate the sound. He initially tried to excuse the sound as 'normal steering' sound but I insisted he listen properly. After several demonstrations he was finally convinced that there was an abnormal sound. He then argued that it was there was nothing mechanically wrong with the vehicle as they had checked it before.

I asked him to then explain where the sound was coming from. He continued to argue that there was nothing mechanically wrong with the vehicle but couldn't explain the sound. I was suitably frustrated at this incompetent, rude technician who wasnt prepared to help. I told him to fix the issue.

He then accused me of raising my voice and stormed off saying he wouldn't be spoken to that way.

Have you sent him on a customer service course?

I am livid with the service received from Mazda's technical department and expect to receive a full explanation for your technician's behaviour and how you are going to resolve my issue. I expect a senior technician to review my problem and not an incompetent, rude, junior technician after I have been waiting a year.

Service complaint

Hello, I had my 2019 Mazda CX5 Touring oil change at Maple Shade Mazda NJ 08052 on 3/19/21 and the sticker for next oil change date:9/15/21 or mileage 28602. Today 7/24/21 while I'm driving the engine oil level warning light up, I went to the dealer but it's closed. I went home and check the engine oil, the oil only touched the tip of the oil stick. I checked under the car , the was no sign of oil leak. The mileage is 26235. Can I drive my car to the dealer on Monday 7/26/21 in this condition? Please advise me. Thank you . Best regards. PS. I will pick up the new 2021 Mazda CX5 Turbo Grand Touring at Pacifico Mazda in Philadelphia 19153 on monday.
